Introduction to New Pitchers

Dear Pitcher,

       Today, was your first pitching lesson.  As you began this step toward a new path, I observed you.  I saw a twinkle of excitement in your eyes as you watched the pitcher before you finish her lesson, and  I saw the apprehension on your face when I began explaining the process and the training, 

      Your first lesson with a new instructor, whether it is for a seasoned experienced pitcher or a brand new pitcher, is a new beginning.  Beginnings can be scary, they can be a little overwelming, and they can be exhilerating!  As you embark on this path, remember, this is a beginning to becoming the future you.  The future pitcher you dream to be, you are taking your first step toward becoming your best. 

       The future pitcher who has confidence in herself that lifts her team and her coaching staff.  The future you will have many first, many goals reached and reset, many trimpuhs, and much success. I am so glad that you have chosen to take me with you on this amazing journey.  I promise to support you, always have your best interest at heart, and give you 100% of my coaching essence each and every lesson.  I will be at times your toughest critic, but also know that I will always be your biggest cheerleader and fan.  I wish you the best of luck as we begin a partnership to help you make all your dreams for softball a reality.  It will take practice, time, and patience, but you can do this!
